West CAP Job Opportunity: Spanish and English Bilingual Client Outreach

West CAP, a non-profit organization providing services to low-income families, is recruiting a full-time or part-time (flexible work schedule) Bilingual Client Information Outreach Specialist in their Glenwood City or Menomonie location. This position will provide administrative assistance to West CAP programs and interact with the public and clients in a positive, helping manner. Responsible to provide clients with information on all West CAP programs including basic eligibility guidance and intake and application processing. Outreach and assistance to Latinx population.

Minimum of a high school degree and 2 years administrative experience or associate degree in related area and at least 1 year of related experience.  Ability to perform data entry concurrently with interactive interviews. Provide Spanish interpreter services and outreach to the Hispanic community. Ability to effectively use computer systems. Ability to use and interpret complex forms, policies and procedures. Ability to organize and prioritize. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, co-workers, and public. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to use independent judgment in regularly non-routine and/or unstable situations. Ability to evaluate information and make appropriate referrals. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and Spanish.
