Our story

In 2020, PCGRO worked to increase voter turnout for both the April and the November elections, asking the people of Pierce County to vote for accountable and representative candidates.
PCGRO identified gerrymandering as a threat to the prosperity of our local and rural communities because our elected officials could not be held accountable to their constituents. Our communities need clean water, affordable housing, and health care to thrive, and yet our elected officials are not advancing those needs in the legislature. Summer of 2020, PCGRO launched Western WI for Nonpartisan Voting Districts (WWNVD).
In Fall of 2021, PCGRO launched its first Local Community projects: Expanding Broadband.
In 2022, we are working on Final Five Voting, Roadside Revival and we are reaching out to our community through Conversations that Connect. The Broadband Expansion project continues. Join us and stay tuned.
